Codename: Lotto was developed to be an easily deployable online mobile platform for various state lottery boards to be opt into and deploy an infinitely customizable slate of games for their customers.
The main application was developed by myself and a small team of engineers at Backbeat Networks. I was responsible for art direction, user experience and interface design. in addition to liaising with external game developers.
Process toward Solutions
Given limitations of our team size I functioned as a UX generalist and visual designer. This entailed, among other things, research and testing, information architecture, wireframing, creating user stories, and creation of visual assets.
Working tightly with clients and engineers, I designed an entire range of solutions for our design goals including user onboarding, streamlined financial integration, consistent user experience despite varying games and activities.
Below are some common user interfaces for some of the app's features and how they could be individually themed and tailored to the particular games they service. In these examples a sci-fi theme for Cashteroids and a tropical motif for Pirate Gold.
